I know that Wilds' textures are blurry and low-res as fuck, but will having crisp textures really make that big of a difference in making it look better? Places like Windward Plains and Iceshard Cliffs would still look ugly even if someone in the year 2060 upscaled it and used the latest graphics card of the future. The problem is that Wilds' art direction is fundamentally just shit. No amount of texture tweaking or graphical upscaling is going to help make it not shit.It will always look ugly no matter how far in the future people play it. Meanwhile, Wildspire Waste and Hoarfrost Reach both look gorgeous even if you play the game on base PS4. It doesn't matter what kind of low-res texturing it may have on consoles. It looks incredible from an art direction perspective, which helps keep it timeless.

You have over a hundred craftable weapon trees per weapon, but with most weapons the only meta ones come down to like 2-3 trees per weapon. Also, as a Charge Blade main, GU is the worst game in the series for me because of how utter dogshit all the Charge Blade playstyles are. Especially since I played Generations right after playing 4U. To say it felt like the downgrade of the century is an extreme understatement. Valor CB in XX didn't do much to help either. It was better than the vanilla Generations playstyles, but still shit compared to MH4U's perfect Charge Blade.

finally got the second gog gem i needed. took 18 runs, so not all that bad but still fucking annoying since now i can finally have the nice elemental cb build i want but no longer feel any desire to fight gog and there is little reason to keep fighting just for armor spheres and perhaps minor improvements from gog weapon rerolling. i suppose that is how it always goes

how interesting are the wilds AT fights when compared to 9* tempered fights?only bothered beating AT rey dau a couple of times and then dropped wilds until TU4 and haven't fought the other ATs (or omega) yet since i have been just farming talismans and gog and don't want those armor pieces. how much harder and different movesets do they have? tld:dr: are they worth fighting for the sake of fighting them? if not, will probably just keep farming armor spheres and fight them once and then drop wilds again until the probable expansion
