Just bought Elden Ring. Mind you Nightreign is my first game, I know order's inversed. Have just gotten around defeating the Tree Sentinel (Nightreign trained me well) and got transported to a mine shaft which kicked my ass then got out and found myself in a poison swamp full of nasty things which kicked my ass even harder. I'm pretty sure you level up but I haven't enabled the function yet. So far I'm enjoying it. Like REALLY enjoying it. It's nice exploring without a timer breathing down your neck. It also had another perk where once you activated Restoration on them it would give it to you too. Really great synergy. Since my build was always punching and abilities I didn't really need guns until boss damage so I could focus on using it to save teammates while I was out in the open punching things to heal and punching things to give me overshield.
