The gameplay system has been completely broken for a long time and is artificially held together by heavy-handed unremovable buffs and debuffs. New Craft Essences add almost nothing to the game. The boss fights are either facerolls or asinine bullshit fresh from the enemy's ass, while at the same time there's not enough of unique fights and 95% of the game is just endless farming and preparing of your increasingly redundant servants additions, even though the players have been overprepared past even the most whimsical team comps for years. And now that the main story has concluded, that hook won't be enough to keep many of the "I play FGO for the story" folks around either.Unironically they need to somehow FGO2 this. Holmes decides to stay to watch Border leaving at a distance before Solomon walks away (footsteps sound).It seems the only one who never crossed to PHH is Brolmes.
I liked it a lot but it only made me more convinced that the OC arc was unnecessary in a way that dilutes the story. The lostbelts are (obviously) so central to part 2's themes that it's silly that for the past few years we've been fucking around in filler singularites.
