But then it suddenly ended, which made a huge impression on me. It mightmake sense if you said that at this point, he was hit by Kyouka Suigetsu's charge attack that broke his gauge, and we entered a strange branching scenario.

I love how self-aware the ending was. When Maris said just enjoy all the singularities she was going to create and don't think about the future, she was talking to the players who just wish to be stuck doing the same thing in this game. The game was pretty much releasing the player. It even asked the question whether the player valued the time they spent with the game over ending it and moving on.This is the only gacha that felt like it appreciated the time players gave it and wished them luck and happiness for the stuff they're going to do after they've moved on from it.
