Rangers are kinda... mid. They're fine. Solid wave clear alt to mages, can be a chest opener, some very niche util, but overall probably not going to be game changing for any account. Balanced. Not as bad as thief, not as good as fighter/sam/ninja, but not TOO far off either. Good alignment back row isn't as damning as evil front line, but it's still a point against her, imo. Traps are damn near useless outside of maybe some A3 sentinel dodging, MAYBE. I wouldn't pull unless you really like her design or the idea of a ranger/archer class.

First Arrow to Draw Blood - Her signature and inheritable skill. It's... A glue bomb with some attached damage, really. Drops enemy eva, which is nice, their aspd (not enough to be noticeable)(it does NOT scale up well with ranks like most offensive legendary character skills, like Yuzu's or Rinne's or Gillion's or Galbadus's... You get the idea). It doesn't last like at all on double action enemies It's definitely supposed to be a good bossing skill, which Rangers don't otherwise have, but most bosses have enough action economy that you can't stack up much hits to make it do any real damage. Also, it seems to count everything as "1" attack, no matter how many "hits" it is. Earth-Splitting Strike scales this skill's damage exaclty as much as pin Yuzu's 6 hit sig skill. For better or for worse. At rank 3 mine does a total of about 4k dmg for 20 sp, which puts it solidly behind Yuzu's Hue3 at roughly the same cost, but with a lot of conditions and strings attached. Very niche

Double shot - it's kind of like follow-up attack, except it targets a different enemy (no overkill), can itself proc follow-up attack, which is cool, AND can proc off skills. Well, there's a catch. Its proc chance is absolutely FUCKING ABYSMAL. In the 27 runs of alabaster cave to get the bow to +20, I had MORE runs with ZERO procs of double shot for the ENTIRE run than I had runs where it proced at all, even once or twice. It's gotta be like... 2% or something stupid.

Anticipated Attack - Has its uses, but the damage per SP is SO bad

Wide Volley - It's a Ma-spell but better? It can sur and hits decently hard if Yrsa is built well. Does its job well enough, but only barely

Penetrating Shot - Hits pretty hard though, and has definite uses.

Smoke Bomb - I haven't used this much, but it seems to hurt you more than help. It makes even my super high accuracy party miss,

Tactical Bola - A definite gem among the kit. Really good on enemies with high action economy

Trap Traversal - Situationally actually really cool, but VERY niche.

Bear Trap - kinda useless.

Deadfall Log - Only works on patrolling enemies that haven't spotted you

Scatter Shot - It's like a ghetto Yuzu Hue. Decent wave clear, REALLY bad on single target since each consecutive hit on the same target gets its damage nerfed by like 50%. Not much more to say about it. Between Scatter, Wide Shot, and Pen shot, Ranger has a decent answer for most enemy configurations. They'll run dry of SP painfully fast though, even with some Debra inherits.

Why is everything horrible value? The ossuary pass is asking 10 dollars for 4 general adventurers and nothing else you would have to be retarded to buy that thing when there is a pack in the shop right now that is the same price, gives you a LAS + 580 gems and 5 bones there are so many terrible packs that either have no thought put into their cost or are simply designed to trip people up. The mission pass which as the battlepass/monthly equivalent should be an attractive deal to bait some level of spending but it only gives you 20 extra gems on the daily rewards, nothing for the weekly apart from a few extra guild points that are not even needed to clear out the exchange gems, 5 green exp books (kek) and 5000 gold.
It's aggressively shit and so are the passports for that matter when you don't want to stack exp/sale boosts.

I wish these retards would realize they can appeal to both whales dumping their entire salaries into the purple gem pack AND low spenders who would pay 12 dollars for the pass each month if it netted them an extra 2-3k green gems.

I got a lot of use out of her anti-beast affinity in A2 and first half of A4, also minotaurs. Leveling her as a priest then switching back to fighter means she always brings more utility. It's not like we won't see magical beasts in the future, but she needs to be dual classed to stand out from the other fighters. After some trial and error i have finally beaten act 2's GWO. I just checked up on a guide and apparently you can get some loot still. How important is the Cutlass and access to the "Forgotten Pirate Harbor"? I feel like none would really be worth doing the whole fight another two times. Cutlass sounds like 1H trash in 2H meta and i believe the Harbor might just be some sob backstory for the Octopussy.

FAS rerolls and pushes up the stats, that's why for F2P's you use it on the class specific rings, which cannot reroll the stats, it just simply enhances them, BEFORE a certain update, it matter when you used FAS but they made an update where FAS will retroactively apply the "enhanced" bonus stats, so you can safely +20 your class rings and later apply FAS when you happen to get it.
As for your question, i assume so, but it would reroll your stats so it might still be a bad piece. I would only really use it on a hat like that, but even then.. Or save it for a gacha weapon.

Next. How I THINK it works. For example if you FASing purple base (now item is red), enhanced to +20 it would:

I'm not talking HSR levels of speed-lapping enemies, you don't need perfect or a lot, just enough so that the Knight goes after your party and before the GWO. I forget the amount I had but it's very low and you should only need one ASPD line if that depending on how much heavy shit you're wearing. I just bring a few different shitty pairs of boots and swap them around in between attempts to experiment, or swap around the ones other party members use until I find the right amount. It's worth doing to have your entire party take half damage.
He will still cast Labadios and Confuse out-of-turn based on your doing damage to him though so you still need Cortu going and a chance to heal up afterwards, so more speed fiddling in that direction is good

In A3 and its related farming caves you want over 140 EVA, but as you get to A3 True End and then A4 EVA falls off a lot
SUR is pretty good but bosses have increased SUR resist to the point where you can't Surety them at all sometimes
ACC is mostly useless if you use Heavy Attack 3 or FPS for their increased Accuracy, you need a bit more in A4 but not that much
Flat ATK is always the safe bet and what you should Alter your worst line with
