I fully believe the best character in the game should be one with a middle of the road pick rate, for the health of the game. JP is obnoxious, but he's rarely seen. When he was the best character in the game in season 1 he was still a rare sight. Same with Rashid and Dhalsim in 5, who were NEVER seen despite both being top 3 because they were just inherently unpopular.When the best characters in the game are fucking Ryu and Mai, number 1 and number 5 respectively, then everyone is dealing with the maximum amount of horseshit every other game and it becomes so much more exhausting than it normally would be
