Does anybody know if they made the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 easier than the WiiU version? Way back when I played the WiiU version of the game, I remember getting reamed by the CPU every race. I'd get constantly pummeled with items and found it very difficult to get 1st place finishes. However, I've been playing the game again on Switch (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe) and the CPU feels way more passive. I'm not getting fucked nearly as often anymore. I don't know if it's just me, my bad luck I used to have, or if they heavily altered the balance of the game to make it easier.
