Fender benders are the only crash you can perform, as there's LE EVIL FORCE resetting you if you completely crash but it ain't resetting you if you fuck up driving. You can unlock the whole map if you know where everything is already, and you can lose your license but then you can't use the driving mechanics to level your Persona and you can't find new areas since you can't read English very well.And the mascot is a Chimpanzee in a propellor hat that fixes cars and he runs on a Persona Barrel for his Persona.

If I want to wash the dishes, that's an hour of mental preparation, I have to stop what I'm doing which is more important, I have to prepare by rolling up my sleepves and organizinge the dishes and set the soap, then I have to actually spend at least 15 minutes washing them. Add in roadblocks like a pot that needs to be scrubbed hard or I don't have space to put the dishes away so I have to organize and make space, then I have to clean the sink, and after all that... I didn't gain anything. So now I'm depressed at all the time and effort I wasted because I'm about to add a new dish in the sink so then I have to unwind after that and disassociate and do nothing before I even get back to my anime. That's a long time, its an entire mission.

For example, the older games use affinity between the personas and the characters' arcana that affects if they can be equip/some effectiveness factors if they can be, the newer games tie the arcana you currently have with how effective you are at building social link points, different personas can be turned into different skill cards/items or used as part of different fusion attacks. And of course, they have their own individual base stats and learnable movesets (sometimes with unique non-transferable skills). There's going to be some interchangeability, but less than you'd think in most games, and it really is to your benefit to keep fusing higher level personas as you go on.
