Man, life before automata was so much worse.I used to have to figure out how to set up auto-clicking scripts, which needed perfect planning and timing and even then still needed me to check in on them every four minutes or so to pick supports. Still a hell of a lot easier than doing it manually, but I'd have to keep my eye on my phone and it limited what kind of activities I could do.Now, I just set it and forget about it and come back to hundreds of boxes worth of tickets, more than enough to push me well beyond any notion of scarcity.I almost feel like FGO should have tried to stop itself from becoming such a psychotic grind and figured out some more practical way to turn apples into resources, and maybe also not have made the requirements for leveling things up get so ridiculous, but I guess I'm also looking at things from the perspective of someone who is far from a casual player who's only going to level up 7-20 servants and let those carry them through the entire story.
