The only time this is ever really annoying is during the opening 3 moves since it is so optimal to get to 3 momentum before engaging in the rock paper scissors mind games since holding the threat of Vajra Toss is so important to being able to consistently chip at hp.Personally I would like to try a version of wrestling that caps out at 160hp so that you have to worry more about a pair of 1x momentum attacks taking you out. Every time I fight someone who goes for broke and starts aggressively using their momentum before getting Vajra, I simply bank on them respecting Vajra to get tons of free momentum and thrust pokes in, and the rest of the match turns into them trying to pull themselves out of a quicksand pit because they have to respect Vajra or if they don't I can end the match at any time. If the hp threshold was 160, then mindlessly going for 3 momentum could set you up for 80hp 3 momentum vs 160hp 1 momentum game state where suddenly you have to engage more meaningfully with someone who chose early aggression and can't just collect free poke and momentum by threatening with Vajra

Let's suppose you use all 3 turns using Thrust. You now have 200hp and 0 momentum vs someone with 80hp and 3 momentum. He has tons of options now. You have exactly two options, and only one realistic one; get 1 momentum and hit your 1 momentum strike, or somehow get another 2 Thrusts against someone who has all the options in the world. He can simply Thrust trade until he sneaks a Vajra, go for extra momentum while you are forced to contend with Vajra threat and sneak some 1 momentums until he can threaten with Thrusts or 2 momentum to end the match, and any number of mixups. If you ever misread Vajra, he wins the match, and he knows exactly what you want to do.Wrestling is a game about trading hp for momentum, and momentum represents options. The less momentum you have, the fewer options you have, which makes you predictable. I think the only real flaw of wrestling right now is there is the opening 3 moves is boring because it is *so* strong to have 3 momentum that the hp advantage you gain through early aggression simply isn't worth it. If there was just 40 less hp in the pool, the game opens up a lot more to different strategies, I feel like

The only hp that matters is the last one, and even the most efficient damage you can belt out (2x 1 momentum) requires 4 turns to execute, and it doesn't kill you. 3x momentum into vajra kills in the same span of time, and that is a persistent threat that looms across the matchI just feel that 3x momentum is strong precisely because a 200hp pool gives enough leeway to where the enemy has to win at least 2 more yomi plays before you actually win, whereas with 160hp cap, now double 1 momentum threatens a victory in the same time span, but it is subjected to all the momentum priority mindgames. It just sounds like a more enjoyable game state to me
