so here is the deal with the current endgame mapping. lets just assume temple is a non-issue because of future nerfs. in order to progress on your atlas you are forced to spam grand projects as often as possible. often you are alternating between tower and regular map. only half of your mapping time is spend in actual maps. people dont notice the problem rn because of temple but they will be aware of it in the future.

Why does PoE2 exist?
I'm a bit new and want some advice on my build.I'm currently building Amazon, Explosive spear, thunderous leap & Mirage Archers. Gameplan is to stack 3 spears + more with Mirage and jump on them all for a big burst of damage. Leap & Explosive trigger Melee>Range Damage buff. Right now I've got gloves that convert my fire damage to Lightning damage but Im not 100% sure how to take full advantage of that. I've mostly been going for crit chance, Accuracy rating, Shock magnitude and lightning damage. Any recommendations on skills/gear/passives?

btw holten estate is a decent alternative for vaal temple campaign farming and it works until lvl 76 I think?the first floor of the map is small and the temple altar spawns ONLY in the first floor so it's quick-ish.holten nerf is a no biggie since it's inefficient to do once you have around 3 or 4 spymasters, by then tier 15 mapping using grand project is faster.I'm metacuckint using a spark bm so it's eeasier for my build though

Why does Flame Breath seem to do so little damage? On paper it looks like it does 800% damage per second, and the ignite compounds so you get an ignite that scales off like 8k% base damage. But the damage feels like it's about the same as my basic attack.

On top of that, the 200% flammability magnitude is almost completely offset by the 60% less damage with ignite. They also slapped a rage cost onto it for some reason, even though to take advantage of the added lightning you'd want to play as infernalist. Just bad skill design like most things in this game. They are randomly tweaking ignites formula because they don't know what they are doing with it and just floundering about trying not to recreate poe1
