When I think about what went wrong with Stellar Blade's story:We don't really get to know any of the major factions. Think about Nier Automata. You knew almost all of the major players by the time we were 40% of the way through the first route, including seeing how they lived, and you had met the antagonists. I think that something that could have helped with worldbuilding would have been if the airbornes weren't completely wiped out every single time and had set up shop at Xion with their tech, trying to get on with life as normal. That could have been a point of tension, as well.Adam's role in the story had basically no foreshadowing. It would have been a good idea to turn him into more of a mentor figure who's emotions are wrapped up in his philosophy, and we should have heard about him from other characters without the context that it's him. There's some of both, but it's too low key.Lily needs to be turned up a couple of notches. Since they want to be Nier Automata, think of how 9S always pipes in with a joke and how that personality was used for dramatic contrast later.The Raven reveal should have happened like 1/5th of the way through the story so that we had a human antagonist, and she should hate Adam.The NPCs around town should have been repurposed to have story relevance and deeper ties to the greater plot. The game needed more plot-relevant NPCs. Maybe they could have made Kaya a naytiba who's a part of Adam's faction who helps out on missions, for example. And maybe do something with those guard chicks and the samurai guy.I think that Eve is fine for her role, though.I feel like they tried tell more of a tight action-thriller story like Resident Evil (if you think about it, the presentation would fit well there) while also trying to be more JRPG and epic in scale like Nier Automata, which just doesn't work.

>>552312196Look at the leveling guide in the OP, the tl;dr is that you need 5 Nikkes at 3* (rolling them each 4 times) by level 200, otherwise you get walled and can't level up your Nikkes any more. These days you're only going to get stuck at level 200 while you roll your last 3* Nikkes for a week or two maybe, but if it's not something you plan around you could potentially be stuck for over a month.
