Another thing about Dracotail is that it's the only one of the current meta decks that hasn't been hit yet. Mitsu, Maliss, Yummy, K9 have all been hit to some degree, some more than others obviously. Dracotail on the other hand hasn't been hit directly at all and in fact has benefited greatly from recent banlists, DBarrier dying and BraFu going to 2 for example, and stands to benefit even more in the future with the Magistus and Branded support coming out whereas the rest of the meta decks not only don't have such obvious subengines primed to be incorporated into their lists but also are clearly going to be made unplayable by the next list. I think we can all agree that Maliss at least is going to be taken out back in the next list.
You can't leave Dracotail untouched in an environment like that.

This is the real problem with Yugioh. Going first will always be too strong. Handtraps don't really fix the problem because decks are being design to play through multiple handtraps. These decks are also 1 card combo decks, so you can also just run all the good handtraps, which just serve as extra interaction for your opponent's turn. If your opponent uses multiple handtraps and you still end up multiple disruptions and handtraps in hand, then what's the point of playing at all? Same with boardbreakers. Going second you have to open multiple boardbreakers and handtraps and your 1 card combo and hope your opponent doesn't have 2-3 non-engine interruptions.

This just filters a lot decks. Mitsu can combo off, open handtraps AND have the extra deck traps, while something like Branded just becomes unplayable. Something like Dracotail would benefit a lot from those and would probably become the best deck.

Kill off Mitsu then? Better yet, kill off any combo-centric deck that has 1) Long combos, 2) A compressed core that allows for plenty of handtraps and 3) A very loose ED that has plenty of room for the EDtraps.
The ultimate goal is to kill off big combo-centric decks as a concept.

it actually changes the maindeck for me not the ED by much. I used to play bane who i rarely summoned before quetza replaced him for me.

you use it you lose access to link 1, but gain maiden + a body on the field which is enough to do your coombos anyway. definitely worth the trade off. run 3 and in ED put both malong and luluwa
