Newfag here, just played through the tutorial missions co-op with a friend but now it's saying that the story missions are solo only. This is disappointing, but I can do this on my own time, I always expected that there would be some solo content. What content should I do with my friend to keep the good times going? My best guess is that we should just pick missions on edge nodes on Earth to expand the Starchart, and then try to meet the requirements to go to other planets and do the same thing. I'm concerned that without a story framework, this will be pretty boring and repetitive, to just do similar missions dozens of times back-to-back, is there more diverse content somewhere we could enjoy?

They can get repetitive too I suppose but they have useful mods, can give certain warframes, and they have different reward tiers as you get stronger and play higher level ones, plus sometimes challenging bonus requirements. Fortuna enemies can be a bit difficult compared to normal corpus so that might be a nice place to measure your strengthJust a heads up, Fortuna is really weird. The game by default only sends you to certain places per session. But you can unlock bounties in other areas of the map by doing some weird defense thing on certain parts that's never really explained. I'm not sure what the deal with that is but enemies usually have a chance to drop certain rare resources so doing that defense with no direct reward for doing it where tons of enemies flood you isn't such a bad thing if you can handle itIf you get tired of normal Fortuna, you can also try doing the mushroom area

They'll force you into the open world areas soon, and then by the time you've made it to Deimos you'll have seen like 80% of early game mission variety. Most of Warframe's gameplay variety comes from the different gear you can get. In addition to all the normal guns you can get early on, there's a chain laser at MR5. The switch has 4GB ram which it has to share with it's OS the other systems all had 8gb and separate ram for the OS. Switch is the bottleneck and every time you see huge cuts(like the Orowyrm being permanent in Duviri) it's due to the need to redesign the original ideas around it's limitations. Look at 1999. The maps there are too big to load the old way and they had to introduce the underground motorbike load scene to unload the map and load the new one. Other dynamic loading maps like Orb Valis load straight from the previous map. 1999 is the first time they need a middle map for it.
