We beat them both and most she got in the main story was Guda asking about his summon with no answers.And in doing so, Nasu inadvertently screwed over not only Logres herself but ALL Artorias. Logres is basically Sigurd on steroids by the description of her skills including infinite mana. You can infer she suffers an overheat/cooldown lorewise by one of them that would be a vulnerability but on paper she is basically a Saber with the sheer power of Saber Alter jacked to a grail without the drawbacks of afflicting her finesse and agility. She isn’t some sidegrade alt like the previous Artorias that trade one thing for another, she is straight up better than them all. The problem is not just the boring reset, but the ten million plot threads left hanging (despite supposedly only one thing left unanswered). You had new shit set up within the final chapter itself that never got a clear answer or just got waved away.

here is the cliffnotes summary of my problems with the ending:-so much time is wasting introducing ideas that don't matter (weren't they gonna take control of chaldas? why did lev even bring it up? why did we have to waste text on this bullshit nonsense with no meaning or value?)-interesting plot points that either get discarded or don't lead anywhere (guda being thrown to the far off future? didn't matter. the conflict between marisbury's autistic superficial love and olga's cynical view of humanity? didn't matter, neither really had any agency in the plot. and why even include the "when you understand my philosophy you will become a wonderful star" line?)-marisbury's portrayal was an absolute mess, should've just kept him as the antagonist-after 8 years of dragging out the mystery they can't even complete olga's story or actually explain her lore; her character arc should've meant dealing with her self-hatred, but she died hating herself, so what was the point?-so much bullshit is just handwaved away with "marisbury made it happen"-nothing main antagonist that nasu introduced in the final chapter that lacks: personality, threat, backstory, lore, or anything that could make it remotely interesting. "the point is that it's empty!" is such a bullshit retarded excuse that i shouldn't even be considering it, but oberon was literally a hole and a fictional character that didn't even know his real self and he was a hundred times more compelling-the fact that the main antagonist is nothing makes the ending not feel like an accomplishment, but rather like something that was predetermined-multiple inconsistencies with the lore or events in the story that serve no purpose at all besides having nasu eating his own cum, like levtia surviving ars nova.nasu's blog being all like "no, i had to make the chapter short because people wanted to get to the raids" or whatever was insulting. this is the end of your 10 year long story, i'm sure people won't mind if it's long.

While cliche, you can at least tell the reset ending was telegraphed a while ago.The main problems are 1. Inconsistency between writers, really ramped up with Ordeal Call. It feels barely anyone was communicating.2. Still a lot of shit left to explain. If there was any definite confirmation we're getting a direct followup, this would be moot but we have no idea.3. The final boss was very basic. The whole thing had this meta aspect that was poorly done and clearly a remnant of when Nasu had balls. If Maris is explored in followup content with Olga, some of that can be rectified.Ultimately, I think the ending is cliche, but that's hardly the worst thing ever if all the other stuff was fine.
