I feel like GGG is kinda contradicting themselves with the skill design. On one hand, they are obviously guiding players into using synergistic combos. Like with druid for example, I guess I should be flipping between bear, wolf, caster etc.Now not talking about how viable that is when you take skills and item mods into account, just the amount of skill gems just is not enough.You cant expect players to be juggling multiple forms in which they should use multiple skills AND have some spirit gems going too. I just dont get why we have this limit at all. It only limits the amount of possible homebrews and people having fun in the game. I dont get why its needed, it wont make builds stronger. Strongest builds are usually 1-2 button builds anyway.Just remove the caps or at least remove spirit gems from it (they already have their cap with spirit). Or make each weapon set have their own capped layout. But what we have right now is just bad. I dont want to have to sacrifice an implicit just to get an expensive unset ring, just to have a homebrew that will end up being worse than a more streamlined build anyway.We have seen this with the max support gem, where GGG is kind of limiting their own design, contradicting itself and making the whole worse. Your headhunter will require the same time to grind no matter if it's a ultra poverty league, or if Jonathan turned on the div printer. Prices are determined by supply and demand. If there is a div printing mechanic like the vaal temple then it devalues them and raises the prices of other items. On the 29th the price of a Rakiatas Flow was 34div, and one Ancient Jawbone was worth 6div, a ratio of roughly 5.6 to 1. Now Rakiatas is worth 129div and the bone 24div. A ratio of 5.3 to 1. In other words, it became easier to farm one. There are exactly 2 ways to scale your income. 1) Time investment. 2) Proficiency at the game. Everything else is relative. If you are getting priced out of items it's not a problem with the economy, it's you lacking behind.

If they wanted temple to have compounding bonuses the obvious choice would be to have early rooms give large benefits but with harsh diminishing returns, (i.e the first t3 garrison you make is something huge like +100% effectiveness, the second only like 50%, then 25%, etc) so the difference between a dad gamer shitter temple and a mega juiced fully built farmer one was only like 10x difference, this would also make boss rushing Atziri and resetting worth more since the few rooms you place while killing architect and atziri would still feel impactful and meaningful along the way to resetting.Instead, they made the pants on head retarded choice to make early temples worthless but the room scaling to be exponential AND with bonuses being the same whether it's your 1st or 10th room of a type, so the difference between a "bad" temple and an S-tier one is NOT just 10x as much loot......But more like 10,000x as much loot, since it's several THOUSAND percentage rarity multiplied by quantity exponentially juicing every room further.This also makes any rooms you place when boss farming meaningless, since you dont have another 70 rooms to multiply them up, so everybody just ignores atziri entirely and builds the same spymaster+armory+garrison chains because nothing else can even connect.It's so obvious Jonathan has never touched endgame or mapping in poe in years, him personally coding the league mechanic should've been a gigantic red flag. During this league we noticed some strategies players were abusing to generate a disproportionate amount of currency in the vaal temple, the new league mechanic. Thousands of people waste their precious time, so devs can get "better perspective" and do a series of hotfixes, which most of the time don't even bring back people who was already done with the underwhelming league. And the "SHUT IT DOWN" hotfixes often kill the mood for the more resilient players. The very nature of the last Temple hotfixes shows that devs just put out some features and don't exactly have a plan on how it should play out - that's because they don't have much testing data.I would take a small well-tested league over the feature-rich but untested every time. Not only the game is not free, it's also requires too much time and effort to waste it on something that just looks fancy on trailer and Q&A session, but is obviously bad 10 hours in.
