This is actually a great idea. Lets face the facts. We play Runescape. We get our asses fucked. Nothing will ever change that. But if we were to got a cape every time we got assfucked then at least we would feel we had got something other than a fat Jagex cock up our backsides.
If you think about it we could get capes for lots of activities that have not got anything to do with skills. They could call them "Asscapes" Say you are doing a quest when all of a sudden you get assfucked by Big Daddy Jagex. Well then, you get a cape named after whatever the quest is called. For example the "Dragon Slayer Asscape".
Or imagine this, lets say you are innocently walking down the road to Lumbridge when BDJ jumps out from behind a bush and violently thrusts his greasy great weener up your butt while you shriek in terror. Okay, so now you can claim the Lumbridge Road Asscape.
See? Wouldn't that be fun!
Just think about it, crowds of players would gather around at the GE to proudly show off their Asscapes and describe what it felt like to have their rectums thoroughly reamed out.
I just see all of this helping to revitalize Runescape and bring lots more people into the game.

every upgrade is marginal at this point and they take so much time

I think that's what most people won't tell you about OSRS and RS3 ironman
it's great in the early and mid game but later on it just feels like a main but with extra steps
some people love the grind even when the upgrades get marginal
though I'd say if you like skilling, ironman is pretty nice because resources have more value since they're not devalued by bots and stuff

RS3 iron was unironically one of my best gaming experiences and I'd recommend it to everyone

The best playstyle is to be a self-imposed semi-ironman. E.g do almost everything manually like skilling, gathering resources, crafting your gear etc, but allow yourself to buy rare items once in a while if you cba to grind for it. Maybe make a concrete rule like you can only buy an item if you have achieved the average droprate KC. Only problem is that it takes willpower not to buy stuff too often, and also you don't get the e-peen ironman emblem.

I have a most excellent plan for making Runescape an enjoyable game once again.
You know Tutorial Island of course. Well, to the best of my knowledge no one has ever got their ass fucked by Jagex on Tutorial Island. Perhaps BDJ doesnt consider their asses to be ripe enough.
Okay, so what we do is all quit our current accounts and make new ones. But then we NEVER leave Tutorial Island. So we can runscape in peace without having to step around puddles of Jagcum everywhere..

I dont think that is necessary. We have enough capes in the game already. A better solution would be for Jagex to issue all of us a number of "tickets" at the beginning of each subscription. So lets say 400 tickets for a one year sub. 300 tickets for half a year. 200 tickets for 3 months, etc. Now how you use those tickets is entirely up to you. Spend them all in one day if you like, or use so many per week until they are gone. The only caveat is you must use them all with the subscription's time frame. If you dont then the number of tickets you have left gets doubled. Now each ticket means you get your ass fucked exactly once. That way you can choose the time and place of your assfucking, and after that Jagex leaves you alone. Many of us would obviously prefer just to get it all over and done with in one massive assfuck fest, parking our butts inside a big vat of WONDERLUBE™, while others would rather drag the agony out over a longer time frame, praying to whatever God they worship. That keeps Jagex happy, and at least you know when you are going to get your anus grossly distended, and for exactly how many more times. It also encourages players to buy a full years subscription rather than assing around ( haha ) with shorter subs.
Its a good solution dont you think?

Definitely, I can run 300 OSRS bots or 38 RS3 bots with a 9950x while OSRS GP is worth 10x RS3 GP. If I didn't already have so much experience with RS3 goldfarming I'd be on OSRS instead.

Maybe for F2P worlds it's nearly all bots, but that's also the case for RS3. If you hop around the GE you'll see a bunch of level 3s botting there.

main on rs3 is dogshit. you genuinely are better off playing an iron. why? i'll tell you why. there is NOTHING a main can do that an iron cannot besides a handful of things. you can play ALL minigames ie fist of guthix and a few others. for some reason, irons can't do those. but here's the catch! minigames are dead anyway so mains can't do those specific ones anyway! hahahaha

and mains can do pvp which is also dead.

i can think of no other restrictions an ironman has beyond not being able to trade (which is a good thing because it forces you to actually play the game) and use the grand exchange.

it sucks, but the game just has evolved in a way that iron is the definitive mode. if you have some irl friend GIM is probably worth (make sure you don't do CGIM because you're locked out of a lot of shit for no reason)
