I spent some time with the CPU on random wakeup timing and random roll direction doing getup kicks, and was trying to meaty beat them out with moves that do 21+ damage or whatever (Brad 46K+G and 6K+G as examples). I feel like i was getting slightly better at reacting and punishing them, particularly the side roll ones, but is this something you're supposed to be able to do on reaction if you're at least strongly predicting them to go for some kind of getup kick? Feels like aggressive oki in VF is way harder and stricter timing than Tekken or Soul Calibur where there's no i-frames on getup attacks.Also don't do 6K+G against the low getup kick.
