Managed to get one of my friends interested in the game, but the bloom/glow effect on the game, both on story and battle scenes, is making it hard for them to play for more than a few moments at a time. Expect a lot of incredible landscapes, vistas, and gargantuan scale megastructures. I haven't been able to read very far into it, but it's his first time doing a fantasy take on what he usually utilizes sci fi to do. He has a penchant for achieving a lot with minimal dialogue and drawing fight scenes that do not hold your hand or draw things out for suspense in more traditional presentations.

Lots of cool designs for the monsters (usually spinning off of standard fantasy monsters into really unique stuff) and architecture (even outside of the tower, but the tower itself is basically a medieval fantasy version of Blame's architecture) and the characters are pretty distinctive. Every part of the world just makes me want to see more of it.
