So what is the lore of the Artmage/Medius storyline as a whole that we know of at this point? I get that it’s probably got a few more sets of stuff to be “complete”, but I swear it should be easier to piece stuff together. I get it’s lame to have downtime without plot relevant things happening but it feels really streamlined so far. School->Invasion->Elves somehow->evil ass pend critters. I just don’t get what supposed to tie it together, it’s probably just hindsight but Albaz lore felt more cohesive.

Something like as long as a Malice card is banished, each turn you can pay LP to SS it, but then it's banished when it leaves the field. That way they'd be viruses you're trying to delete but they keep coming back and sucking up resources. Give it a Cyberse lock (and NOT a Link lock jesus christ) and bam, now every single Cyberse deck has a recurring resource so they can have something resembling a grind game. Make the bosses make you pay LP to get a useful effect and Hearts Crypter gain attack based on how much LP you've lost and you've got something.
