So after seeing the mindswitch, it kinda makes me think its a 'situation specific' safe mode.The Nikke can't handle the current stress, her brain is overloading so NIMPH steps in and basically goes "Ok, what do we need to survive this?" In Snow's case, her goal was simple.1. Survive2. Kill raptures. So her brain looked at it, took anything it didn't need, and shoved it into storage while keeping only what it needed in the moment. She knows who Doro, Rapunzel, and Scarlet are but she doesn't necessarily need to know their history, so those get shoved into storage/isolated. The memories are still there, they just can't be actively 'accessed'. It also explains why other Nikkes likely get terminated after a mind switch. If its caused by them suffering stress from 'not being human' their NIMPH is basically going to go "Ok, so how do we deal with this?" and either delete so much of their memory that become barely functional or they just go insane.
