Big fun. I think for Aurics it's in a really good place as a high skill floor glass cannon in terms of survivability:damage. Some weapons probably need touching up, but I mostly use Shivs, and if anything, they need a nerf, but I don't really care. As far as Havocs go, I quit playing them mid last year, so I couldn't say.

It didn’t actually time travel, what happened was that the black hole fired by it missed because its target knew where it was going to hit and started dodging before it was fired, but there was a secondary effect spread 100 kilometers from the hole, and telefragged the Eldar ship's material into itself. The ship itself survived, but still died because of bad weather and other ships present. Still impressive though and the ship in question has a lot more advanced and powerful technology with it besides that. DAoT era humanity could have have been top dog in the current era, up until the Necrons and stuff start waking up in sufficient numbers at least. If the Aeldari ever return to the height of their power they would also lose pretty badly against them. We have reason to believe they were on the cusp of mastering Warp travel and psyker shenanigans as well before everything went haywire.

Shopclick's classes are kept in a constant cycle of "keeping up with the Joneses" where Fatshark reworks the worst-performing class, only to then be inundated with complaints about the next worst-performing class. It's a symptom of severe lack of developer vision and I think the fact that both new classes are just rehashes of pre-existing systems really drives that reality home. I genuinely don't know how they can fix things at this point.

This is about how I run my LW Forceful. I put the last free point into cleave on push, but you could grab stun immunity from Forceful or drop Suppression Protocols and path through 25% ammo+Imposing Force and take the reload keystone instead. Rebreather is good, but you'll only really use it on gas missions (or in Havoc). Target Neutralized is another good option. Alternatively, you can adjust how you path into Forceful or drop True Grit and take Street Smarts + Monstrosity Hunter. You probably won't get use out of True Grit most games if you're using your tools effectively and not new/bad. Alternatively, drop the BTL upgrades + Arbites Vigilante entirely and go wild.

Not needed. Don't care what he says; Vet doesn't need a rework. Tuning? Yes, absolutely. But an exhaustive overhaul of the class would be a massive waste of dev time. Give VoC an additional 5s CD (and add another 5s in a hotfix a week or two later if that's not enough), buff Stealth and maybe Exec (ranged rending on weakspot maybe to enable low-AP weapons to function against armor blobs), and make a few minor talent improvements here and there. That's all it needs. Most classes need similar. Most classes also need weapons tuning.

Those are its more meta picks. Most melee options work fine on Zealot. That said, other classes often use the shared-pool weapons (Tac Axe, Heavy Sword, etc.) better because they have more damage (and more diverse sources of damage) in their talent trees. Like the Hive Scum with all of its crit takes the Tactical Axe to a completely new level compared to a Zealot running it. You can still use the TacAxe on Zealot, but it's not gonna feel nearly as good.

Relic Blade does not have a problem dealing with more than one crusher, you just heavy attack them in the head with the sprint thrust or your preferred mark's overheads. It just doesnt obliterate Crushers from orbit like Krak grenades or the Deimos Force Sword/Force Greatswords.

Could you post your build? What keystone are you using? Because Relic Blade definitely benefits from Martyrdom the most. This is what I'm running on my Relic Blade/Bolter build as an example. You can swap out Unfaltering at the bottom for anything else (I just use it for comfort) and knives for stun nades if you're using bolt pistol.

Taunt makes all the enemies run to you nice and bunched up and also makes them take +20% extra damage for 21s on a 50s CD instead of +15% extra damage and some more burn stacks for 10s on an 80s CD.
Plus it helps you not get picked apart by shooters in larger rooms and you can use it as an AOE stagger in a pinch if you fucked up and are about to get dogged/netted mid-reload.
Feel free to meme it up with BLO though, it's fun especially in Mortis Trials

Well, Scourge single-handedly gives you +30% crit chance when you crit 3 enemies.
You don't crit often, but when you activate it it's fairly easy to keep that going while you're swinging into enemies and keep the baseline of crits necessary to keep both Scourge and Enduring Faith going from Scourge proccing in the first place.
I will say I don't have any uptime tracker, so maybe they're not actually worth with Martyrdom when you don't have FotF/Shroudfield to proc them willy-nilly to get the chain of crits going?

I also don't play with the uptime mod (conflicts with better buff bar, which I really like having for testing, and I can't be assed to restart and swap my mod list on the fly), so I won't deny that I could very well be wrong about this. That said, I think Scourge is an extremely unreliable source of crit if you aren't already operating with decent crit through some other source. Not only is it reliant on a crit to start off (outside of a knife with bleed-on-hit), it only activates on hitting a bleeding enemy, so your first hit that applies the bleed does not activate the effect and give you crit chance. That further reduces the talent's usefulness in multiplayer because how many of those enemies are surviving both you and your teammates to accept your second hit? It's not like the Relic Blade is a speedy weapon either, and a lot of the things it hits, it kills. And like you said, not having FOTF to help you get it going isn't doing you any favors. Even if you did, I think the buff's duration and activation conditions are still stacked to heavily against a RB with 5% CHC, but like I said, I have no actual data to rely on here either.

Regardless of its uptime, you're running Martyr and getting 37.5% TDR from that. You're getting 15% TDR from benediction. Another 10% TDR from the basic node. AND you're running the 40% TDR node from book.
Hubris only gives 15%, BUT it gives you regular DR which, unless I'm mistaken, functions separately from TDR and won't give you the same diminishing returns. And coming back around to uptime, it's extremely easy to keep active in almost any situation. (If you do end up swapping your stuff around, go for Abolish Blasphemers over Riposte if you start looking at it).

Yeah I tested it a bit in the psykhanium and it didn't seem promising so I just finished a game with the uptime mod and the uptime of Enduring was only 10% with Scourge being even lower. Granted, it does help when you're fighting Ogryn/bosses which are the most troublesome enemies for Relic Blade, but everything else gets basically oneshot by the powered mode.
I don't play with Relic Blade nor Chorus much, so I sort of just copypasted over what I use for my other Zealot builds (FotF + Thammer/Chainaxe/Chainsword)

Smokes are almost entirely useless outside of havoc, in large part because nobody knows how to, or wants to, play around them.
They're good in havoc because they're almost a better psyker bubble, although they are of course still worse than kraks, which are pretty much mandatory in rotten armor. Still good though. Had plenty of good runs with smoke vets, and also with 2 vets using different grenades.

Ogryn is a walking force multiplier because all of his good weapons have Skullcrusher on them and can often cleave to hit multiple targets with a huge extra damage taken debuff. Taunt keeps your retards safe. With the correct build, you can also bonk crushers really fucking hard.
Arbitrator is borderline fucking invincible especially in melee, borderline immune to disablers that aren't trappers, has a billion different sources of stun, and almost invalidates all hordes that aren't heavily armored.

Both classes can do things vet can't, most important one being staying alive and holding ground, especially in melee.

Vet can clutch with its ability to deal with most problems including hordes, bosses, specials and shooters. If you're a really good player, you can survive quite long on your own even in h40, while obviously contributing a fuckload when everyone else is actually at least decent.
Scum has the plan B of just kiting indefinitely with its silly dodges and high speed, while also being a reasonably high value class (as long as you bring a field improv vet).
Ideally use a mod that lets you inspect players and ensure their builds aren't retarded.

So how do I solve this with a gun?
Tried revolver, it didn't seem to have enough cleave.
Bolt pistol definitely doesn't have enough cleave.
Neither does the combat shotgun.

Jumping marginally helps, but still doesn't guarantee actually hitting the sniper.
I am not currently using Against the Odds, but that would give me potentially +50% cleave, that apparently does work on ranged weapons... I will put this on my build and see if/how much that helps.

Any other suggestions? All I care about is cleaving through a zillion poxers to hit a faraway sniper, everything else is secondary.

I'm rarely in such a bad position that it matters, but I believe bomber (and flamer?) flames can't spread all the way into edges/corners of a room, whether intentionally or otherwise, so you're SOMETIMES safe walking along the edge of a wall or to the corner. The Kantreal Shotgun still has decent cleave against poxwalkers with the flameshot, you just need one firey pellet to reach to get the burn on, and 2 shots will stack enough burn to barbeque a sniper.

That isn't what you were saying, and I don't entirely disagree with you here. However the problem I have with it staggering enemies it pulls you through is that it could make it too easy for teammates to free you by clearing a path itself and giving you a (greater) safety buffer before you can start getting smacked. Trappers aren't perfect, but I do think they're in a pretty good spot in terms of danger:counterplay. Same with snipers. The issues I have with them are related to when the game stops following its own rules, broken sound cues being the most common example.

You'll feel stronger with more talent points, psyker is very point hungry and the capstone can really make or break a build. Fire staff is great at high difficulties since it so staggers, wo it acts as damage and crowd control. The other staves also have their places, and the force swords are cool. You'll get perks later that will scale damage or crit or what have you with peril, will get more ways to purge peril, and will get buffs or toughness when you do. Its tons of fun but really starts to jive when you get to 30.

In a way, yes, but it is its own ‘thing’ too, you can kind of think of it like the ocean, the Deep Warp would be like Mariana’s Trench, and it’s implied even the Chaos Gods are fearful of it. There’s also the basement of the universe, which is like the Deep Warp except in the physical universe.

I always thought it was lame that PBB doesn't play into the ogryn fantasy at all. The gunlugger fantasy is that they're fucking retarded and just hold down the trigger until it's empty then start using it as a melee weapon because they forget that guns can be reloaded, right? So why not something like
>turns your ammo counter and magazine into ??? and randomly increases your mag from 200-400% so you basiclaly end up just magdumping without a clue on when the magdump is over (this is the ogryn just blasting)
>decrease reload speed by like 70% (this is the ogryn forgetting that guns can be reloaded)

I'm new and have been playing bot games and shit and just generally trying to learn the game and get a feel for things when I've gotten a chance to play. Laning is really fun, but I'm a little confused as to what to do after.
I hear about going to help other lanes and that makes sense, but generally the 2 ppl who I was fighting in my lane just continue to try and get my little firehead man, the guardian or whatever, after we take theirs. What should I be doing? Am I meant to push our lanes creep wave into the walker, hit the jungles around my lane and try and push them back until they fuck off? I feel like if my lane partner leaves and the two people in the enemy team stay in that lane, I always end up being pushed back into my own guardian and losing it.
