This is apparently what modders enjoy now, and it only takes one of them in each lobby for it to be that way for everyone. In a lot of ways you could argue it's better for the additional content, but you have metas like the infamous Oppressor MK2 that everything in the game has conformed to the existence of since. PC enhanced isn't as lively as I remember xbox being years ago. The only time I ever really pvped in freeroam was when I would go to the top of the maze bank tower and try to shoot players with a heavy sniper. One time I got sniped myself from another building and the guy did a little emote in the killcam. It made me lol and I didn't do it anymore. I think they tweaked the K/D thing to where suicides count as a player death and then they tweaked it again to where the K/D ratio is only affected by deathmatches and not freeroam.

I wish rockstar cared a little more. They hardly do the bare minimum. Sometimes it feels like drive my content "oh guys by the way here's an update for that game we don't care about lol thx for shark cards", and they zip off back into the sunset. Started playing a few weeks ago after quitting in 2017 and already have a 1:1 W/L ratio in races. It helps when you have the fastest overall super car in the game. Those years of broughy videos really pay off. The main rule of all races on GTA online. Don't crash, and if you spin out the guy in front of you. Wait and let them go in front of you. They'll end up spinning out later anyway when you're up on their ass the rest of the race. Most shitters and children don't even know what the meta cars are. So even in a full race you're only really racing against 3 other dudes. Now time to save up for the Banshee GTS HSW so I can dominate sports-class lobbies too. The Feltzer is a bit harder to drive and no longer even close to the meta. But in a perfect lobby you can still eek out wins.

Cheaters are back and ruinind this game on PC for good. Had about 2 or maybe 3 cheaters mess with me in enhanced up until the last few days. It's still not as nuts as it used to be but enough to absolutely ruin the experience. Sad this game with all it's potential will never reach it. Do modded accounts last or get wiped by banning? I'd like to get a PS5 for the game but I've already grinded 2 different platforms. This game is the most cursed gambit that has ever been. You have to pay extra, up to hundreds, just to get something approximating the experience you'd hoped to have on your platform of choice, paying furthermore, more money to the company that doesn't care for it's own game and supporting all of it's practices. It's like cheaters are allowed on purpose as a ploy to get players to pay more for less. Is there any element of this game that doesn't amount to that? Utterly perverse abuse of systems on all levels. If only governments were scummy in the right direction so that companies would be forced to create output while working up to the requirements of a propper experience, like quality assurance for consumers. Rockstar is on the level of a monopoly with gta online so I think it would be fair.
I really have to wonder how this game would be if fans who loved the game were in charge and took ownership of it.

BIG ones. Ubisoft is no perfect developer, their recent releases have been full of problems, but with one franchise, the Assassins Creed franchise, they veered from the image of the original games over the years, and many elements, primarily parkour, were dumbed down, simplified, and overall stripped and worsened. They listened to some feedback for Mirage and improved some elements, with updates. Shadows went back to Odyssey level downgraded parkour that was just a little more flashy. It's map was never conducive to doing a WHOLE lot with the system, but this was criticised by players who were given early access. There's a whole niche AC scene dedicated to the parkour and old stealth and combat systems of AC. It's bascially the true, dedicated, autistic fans, distinct from the consumer masses that just want dopamine hits, and one of the, still niche, but larger channels among them, called Ropotopolus, made a video on it. Ubisoft then directly got into contact with him and they've improved it's system since. There are examples of the inverse of this though. Companies listening to the big, mass appeal, surface level shills, like netherrealm studios, for Mortal Kombat 1, which is known to have had a load of problems. Things which could have been fixed just doing so little as opening their ears to critics went mostly ignored. The things is, these companies have to learn to discriminate from the loud normies that will just eat everything up, or those that give nothing but praise. It's good to identify what they are doing right, of course, but resting on laurels is death. It's the refiners fire that makes quality, where any is to be desired. It takes some discernment, and humility.

Dumb question, but I keep placing sticky bombs or proximity mines on objects and then trying to cary them to use as makeshift bombs for the Mule for experiemental purposes, but also creative fun, but as I fly they eventually detonate without any input. I didn't know if this was a collision detection thing so I tried suing with a car by crashing it with a sticky on it, or crashing into one on a surface, and nothing happenned.Anyone know what causes the detonation? You could of course do this with actual player commanding the tank as well. I now must wonder if it's possible to airlift a chernobog. Then you'd have true undefeatable arial dominance.

Well after a few days of testing, the DLSS 4.5 Preset M model is a lot better than DLSS 4.0's preset K, but you can still find sitiuations where the ghosting can be forced to happen, but outside of these edge cases, it's MUCH improved overall.Just like in DLSS 4.0, it's still effected by nightime lighting more than anything else, and especially on large dark vehicles.
