I just realized something the other dayThere really isnt any clothing or armor for science builds. That is to say, an outfit that screams this is an energy weapons/science/hacker. Only the courier can tip the scales in personal combat, getting allies, or turning on a securitron army.

So Legion has more manpower, better trained and better disciplined troops. The inherent problem with a storyteller/designer/showrunner/whatever destroying a beloved faction/city/planet/whatever in a setting is they always forget the rule that you have to replace what got destroyed with something just as appealing if not more so to the audience/fanbase.The reason they do this is because they lack the creativity to tell a story with constraints, and they lack the ability to apply nuance, to know that you don't have to completely erase a thing, you can just hobble it for the duration of the story or whatever.There's nothing for it other than endless bitching about it online while no one at Bethesda gives a fuck unless the change is bad enough to affect sales, which it rarely does.

The game makes pretty clear the NCR is advanced enough to be fielding an army, doing presidential elections, have political corruption, have all these brahmin barons, all the tourists, the vertibirds, the power armor. The logistics of this require more than just a halfway retaken city ruins that we get shown as shady sands in the show.
