All their development will move in snail pace so that the story can go indefinitely. If they turned Don permanently into Sancho then the next IDs will also need to be tailored around Sancho and that will confuse the newbabs, or you make more Don-esque IDs and confuse the old playerbase by having a massive contrast between current Sancho and that ID

I think Don's story is too heavy on context to fit in the 3 acts we got. I think part 1 being showing her reality conflict with her idea of fixers is fine with what happens later, it's like liking the idea of being an army man when watching movies with your dad to then discover y'know it's hired work and not just heroism like the A Team.But we pretty much stop seeing Don when she takes the shoes off for most of the remainder, making Dulcinea and the trio the main villains and getting Don back in an intervallo as consequence could have been more interesting.I prob would also have made papa don finally dying be the inciting incident of why they're back, you just hear of this bloodfiend he was nice with some grand dream and it fucked a lot of people over who still love him despite that.With Papa Don dead is the dream actually dead sort of like the theme?Dulcinea's big attack is also pretty apt for the same final scene they wanted since she blasts up into the air and does a giant spin attack.

I like the idea of in Canto 14 when we're level 85 ourselves Sancho just becomes the dominant character, something happen that makes her shoes blast off and it takes a while but people notice she's just fine now. What ever hold Dante has over his Sinner's is, it's now grown to surpass the blood fiend urge (game play wise now clear by our levels now being what her actual level was)

I think the Director should use more of the source material book as a base for the story rather than as a loose interpretation. Canto 6 is if Wuthering Heights were set in the City and it was great whereas other Cantos are just what if the City had characters that happened to be named after the novels and did their own shit while referencing events in the book. Might be hard for Yi Sang and Ryoshu since theirs are so short but they can be an exception.

The story of Don Quixote is ancient, and has been done to death countless times. PM deserves credit for attempting something unique and ambitious for our Don’s story instead of “playing it safe”. The emotional, character-driven performances of the principle voice actors involved and creative storytelling alone are exceptional.There is nothing wrong with enjoying canto 7 or its content. Similarly, it is fair to criticize the shoddier parts of its writing and the plot holes it spawns that distract from the story’s strong points. These are a natural consequence of attempting to do something big, something different, where execution will always be the most difficult part.Both canto 7 enjoyers and detractors are good people.

I still find it disappointing that PM hasn't tried to introduce unique Sanity effects for ID's. Sure they've sometimes had unique factors increasing/decreasing Sanity like on Captain Ishmael or Lanternsang, but none of the actual Panic Types that our opponents get. It made sense early on since Low Moral and Panic effects were just lose harder mechanics for the enemies, but over time they started to become like an extra facet of the enemies kit with ups and downs. A facet we just don't get. I know it would be very situational and niche, but at least giving us Low Moral effects could help give a bit of extra uniqueness for each ID.
