Just finished story 2. Wow, I felt like the ending ruined a pretty decent story. Rose felt shoehorn in and would have been better if she wasn't mentioned. I HATE how mirror was in this event as well. Stuff, I'm not too happy happy about. Scarlet's true thought processes being shown and her motives are not as pure as we were led to believe, she doesn't seem to fight for humanity or to destroy raptures, she lives for Rose's words, I was hoping she was more like the scarlet we see in NYNS where she is okay with dying if it helps humanity/kills the raptures as a whole even if she is used. Snow White's mindswitch personality was just a defensive mechanism to survive a rapture fight, not from actually suffering, meaning modern Snow White's hatred for raptures and love for humanity seems kind of arbitrary now (though maybe she had more stuff happen to her we don't know about between oz and campaign), though I appreciate how she was the first to volunteer to fight and save the survivors showing she sort of had the mentality of being a protector. Though I guess maybe she started hating raptures more after lilyweiss's head was stolen. I feel like inclusion of Goddess Fall references really detracted from this event. Turned a B+/A- event into a C+/B-. Oswald scenes were fine. The VTC politics were kind of annoying but I guess they needed to reinforce the idea of why vapaus is so secret but how did the goddess squad know why it was dangerous and was hidden in chapter 17.
