Finally finished watching the New Year event story and I actually thought it stood out from the other New Year events. The instrumental Starting Force was nice and this event was one of the better cases of tying in the keiba themes to the event story plot using Bubble and Gurunee's past. Doesn't reach the top tier of event stories (which again are mostly reserved for the best oyako diabeetus ones) but definitely was better than the "meh it was okay" feeling I got from a bunch of other events.
