I’m gonna explain something to my fellow cap retards. The shield throw is a finisher. It animation cancels your M1, does a lot of damage, and practically guarantees a hit. You use it to confirm a kill, not to throw into a group of enemies who will heal whatever measly damage you dished out with it. Reducing the cooldown on it does nothing but encourage this bad habit.

There’s also so much CC in the game now his ability to escape isn’t guaranteed like it was before. Invisible woman alone can negate his dash away with her pull. So what that means is you need to pick your dives, and in some games there’s not always good opportunities to dive as him. He also can’t do much to fliers and is pretty bad at peeling, so the enemy can easily run a comp that makes him worthless. Also he’s not easy to pick up initially because of all of this. You need to make a lot of mistakes to get the hang of which characters you can dive and brawl, and which ones you can’t, and when you should push, how you should approach a particular objective. It’s not as simple as just slamming onto someone and then holding M1 until they die.
