An early test run, the result is not ideal for Index Don since this top 3 gal basically kill everything before Index Don get to do anything (Even tho I put her at 2nd slot Hanamael and Udjat Outis still often move before her). But the few time Don get to his she seem pretty good, the mechanic is smooth, no weakness, easy to use, less restrictive than Hanamael

Surely they can be considered a major player in the city if they can infiltrate multiple groups and organisations, corruption, sabotaging, and recruiting strong members from those compromised structures. This not only causes paranoia throughout the city, but also gives the pinky invisible control. We've seen just how influential and scary the pinky has been in the last 2 cantos. I imagine that the pinky gives its members information, and as a result power, but they must be loyal and report back to the pinky so that they have up-to-date intel. Obviously if you're in and you don't play ball you'll just be outed and you'll be dealt with by the group/organisation that you betrayed.

Later games are often considered not as good, but the general appeal of it remains the same, NPCs actually have little lives you can check on since their dialogue updates a LOT through the games, and the combat is entertaining enough, though the series two arcs have a seriously problem with melee skills being worth jackshit by midgame, which is fixed in the 3rd arc, but then the game is really easy if you know what you're doing.I'd still recommend it anyway. The "Holding back" bit is just a staple but it doesn't harm the narrative too bad, but it can get annoying. You do eventually best most of the guys who kept doing that shit later. As a team, cause otherwise you'd get stomped.
