There is a much more bearable game under all the overtuned mechanics but there has still been significant character assassination and one of the biggest issues is how much they love to give characters a mix which consists of a huge coverage high and a safe mid and just making you guess. Best example is Steve lionheart, every game vs Steve is 3-5 rounds of guessing between - homing, guard breaking, reversal breaking, natural launching high (beats everything except ducking)- homing, wall splaying, heat engager mid (beats everything except stand blocking)It's "balanced" because Steve will die if he goes for the high and you guess correctly but it's dogshit gameplay for both parties. And it's everywhere. Paul's homing launcher off stances that were historically weak to stepping, Anna ff2, that plus homing high AK does, Clive b2. There are so many highs with absurd coverage that can only be countered by "lol duck" in this game.
