And the intro of that was so damn interesting that I’m now in section 2. The amount of interesting things portrayed in the fairly long intro and prologue were just crazy. I’m so hyped for Musashi to show up in this one from the prologue scene, and who was that other guy talking with her? It’s the same guy who healed the plague in LB4 calling himself a Chaldean right? And then there’s the whole David thing with Area 51 like wtf is going on there, and the British Lostbelt apparently just cut down its own tree? Also the whole Crypter interaction with the obvious lack of Daybit makes him even more interesting now given that he just showed up randomly in LB4 with a grand servant. Like I just couldn’t help myself, too many hooks thrown in at once and I just decided I’m going to do all of LB5 before circling back to the interludes now.

Just finished Argatha. I finished Fate/Samurai today and got all three endings, with entreat the darkness as my last ending. There's barely any discussion about this game to be found online so I'm trying my luck here in case someone here has played the game and has thoughts to share.Your New Game+ is kind of unsettling as it reveals that Iori isn't actually a kind and gentle person, but he's only behaving this way so he can understand people better so if he ever gets to kill them, he can do so more easily. But when does this attitude start? Has he always been like this since a child, or does he become like that once he "removes the excess" from his soul when developing the fire stance?It's hard to tell because it feels like Iori genuinely cares about people, and New Game+ recontextualizes him developing the fire stance as him getting rid of the human side of his personality so he can reach the combat capabilities of servants as a human.But when he talks to people about his feelings he talks like he's never been a kind person.

During the game there are these bigger battles over ley-lines you take as you approach a location, and Iori can get buffs for the duration of that fight based on the places he has taken and the fonts he has unlocked. At the completion of one of those events you also get a permanent buff based on the fonts you claimed.
