If you have neither Dialyn nor Lighter you can use Jufufu but...she sucks. As for the engine, Brimstone is better now than before in comparison to Heartstring because of the changes to her basic(s) but Heartstring is still the best option, especially because it makes building crit far easier if you don't use Inferno Metal.
