This is just H3MP and a few map mods.As for H3VR itself, to have the best chance of the mod working (seriously this was working flawlessly in early 2025 I had no idea the dev abandoned it until checking today), make sure to go into H3VR on steam, properties, beta, and set it to "update 18, U118 Legacy", the last version it seems sure that the mod worked for.Hopefully it all works out. I did some sanity checks on the performance of Mahjong tables. I just put 4 tables with 4 cpus each to do their stuff. Not the best method, but at least I was hoping to get some actual results before actually starting to work on any optimizations.TileGun (6 tables): 120 FPS without any tables running. When 4 tables are running, performance drops as slow to 15 fps, but oscillates mostly around 20-30. No performance impact when just joining the table and not doing anything.Rinshan (4 tables): Same as tilegun, except without any tables it runs around 140 fps.Nakanishi (4 tables): Same as tilegun, but runs at 130 fps without any running tablesIn all 3 maps with only aozora/aozora derivatives, the performance seems pretty much the same.Good night, and good day.

VR gamers are maybe the most discriminated against minority group in society. I really hope the steam frame unfucks VR game development, because right now wii sports resort mogs every VR exclusive short of half life alyx and maybe blade and sorcery. Without exaggeration, the future of VR is contingent on the frame acheiving price parity with meta products, which seems unlikely.
