I would place Arcane Archer in A-tier. S-tier archer builds would spam special arrows, which are mutually exclusive with Arcane Arrows - whether relying on weaker but replenishing Arcane Arrows is a drawback depends on your perspective. Psychic arrows add 14 damage on average with the Resonance Stone, which is respectable. However, the class does depend on a secondary ability (INT) to reach its potential. For my new run I'm running death domain as it seems cool and interesting.

Tempest is just lightning spam but it's very good for DPS.
Life is pure support and the only healer worth building but if your other chars aren't dogshit it's not needed at all.

There are several benevolent outsiders you can form a pact with, including angels. A unicorn is a funny one.

But honestly I always felt like that dodges one of the main points of a warlock, which is balancing your quest for power against your patron being a piece of shit and giving you tasks you don't want to do. A fully evil warlock who just agrees with their evil patron is one thing, because then at least the player carries the burden of having to roleplay an evil character. But a good character who just agrees with everything their good patron says always felt like a cop out. But from a realistic perspective of what I would actually do, that's the way to go.

If we're talking bg3 only, then I'd go with fey. They offer several nonlethal ways to win/escape combat, and there are several fey who are not as capricious as the rest, like older spirits of the forests and elemental entities. The bad ones are faeries, hags, and the other ones who think it's funny to torment mortals. (On a related note, we're lucky that Dolly helps us when we free her. That was a coinflip that happened to be in our favor.)

Which would you say is better between Draconic and Storm Sorcerer?

"I kinda hate all the characters except frog girl so I decided to have a run with just her" is a mouthful so I'm calling this run a "Maiden voyage". Me and my beautiful frog wife are going to ride around the world killing strange and new monsters, it's gonna be great.
It's pretty hard and going to get even harder when the game assumes that even the most retarded player has a full team.
But God damn it feels so good to have a team of people you actually like.
Finally I found a way to play this game.
Some thoughts and progress:
-Berserk is great. A fuck ton of attacks and I can throw some goblin ass into one another and one of them is guaranteed to be prone. There is no DC. All of this for a bonus action lmao.
It also seems that I can grab and throw people without any dice checks. Isn't there supposed to be an athletics check or smth? Is it a bug?
-I'm still searching for a weapon to rip out of hands with a battlemaster ability. Starting to regret taking this maneuver.
-Spider queen underneath the village is dead! Was a fun fight. Swamp witch is next.
-We are consuming healing potions at extreme pace. I hope we find a new supplier soon.
- Tactician is fun and just hard enough. I'm happy I didn't started on max lvl ruleset. Although I'm interested in those "legendary actions".

As for the zaithisk in particular, lying in order to lure ghaik to their deaths is just a tactic among many other tactics. They would commend the practical efficacy of it. They're soldiers first and foremost, and deceit is absolutely part of warfare.

you can run up and grab someone but if the check fails it'll show the failed roll they'll just be standing next to you
if you have tavern brawler it is very unlikely that you will see a failed throw

Mechanically he's the worst race amended with an even worse unique source skill compared to non-origins. Plot-wise his story relevant NPCs are usually out of the way or have such little screen time that all the dick-sucking and fear-mongering about his reputation falls flat. Unlike the others his sidequest line doesn't have a big cathartic moment or tie in with the others and events barely play out any different with or without his presence. DE promised to amend that, but it did not by any means do so. BG3 uses his real name for his portrait instead of his title. Really his only saving grace is his nice hat that only comes back to him 3/4ths of the way through the game and will get replaced by the next piece of levelled loot you find

I find it funny that all the struggle I had in getting astarion to like me enough by the victory party was actually so trivial after I learned to just spam rests before doing the gate fight. The best part being that none of the choices even conflict with my stereotypical good-guy nature. Also I keep finding an extra one or two camp scenes from him every run that I've never encountered before. Which is weird since I've been spamming partial long rests after every major story beat for a while now but I guess even minor beats deserve a long rest. Not happy about the short joke though

Yeah I have no clue why they put so many events tied to resting before the gate fight and even put one that only shows up if you haven't recruited anyone. Its super jarring because at that point you get what basically amounts to 3-4 nights of people going oh no why haven't we turned yet or shouting about the urgency of the situation when all the content of the area can be cleared in 1-2 short rests. Even beyond that the one I posted a screenshot for comes from after finding out about halsin in the grove after the gate fight but before progressing the plot any further. Act 1 is just scattered with that weird stuff

Underdark has a couple of no combat free XP places, talking down the gith are also a huge XP source if you have the inspiration to account for fumbling, Of the choices you've posted though mind controlling flind is the easiest option. I don't recall the exact route but I do remember that its possible to hit level 5 before having to fairly fight any bosses with legendary actions but I think that route includes mind controlling flind
