The issues FGO has with storytelling is because Nasu's not used to write linear plots. So he fucked up. He's used to tell one story, then redo for another from the beginning. Part 1 and 2 should honestly be two different 'routes' in FGO starting from 2015. Arcade also got fucked because it looked like this (an alt part 2 from 2017) but now it just looks like swept under same memery bullshit.FSN didn't tell the story of EMIYA, Saber and the HF in one linear way, it just reused the scenarios.
