So, I decided to compare the cantos (besides Canto 1, 2 and 3) to try and see the point people are making about the pacing/"it should have been an intervallo" posting.In total:>Canto 4 had 51 Nodes and the Dungeon in Part 3, which had 3 floors, with Floor 3 especially being mook fights after mook fights. Out of those 51 nodes, there were 34 MOOK FIGHTS, about 14 of those was the same fucking robots, and the rest are K Corp goons, Rosespanner goons, and TLA mooks for extended periods. This outdoes ANYTHING in Ryoshu's canto in terms of dragging the pacing through the earth. The only good and actually unique fight in this canto is Dongbaek and Dongrang, we fight Bull 3 times so it doesn't even get that. I suppose there technically are different mook fights versus Canto 9 Part 1 and 2 which just had the abnos and Ring Mannikans which are annoying as shit, there are still way more fights without story than Canto 9.I will go on if prompted, but Canto 4 is probably the biggest point of this considering how loved it is around here despite its fucking atrocious pacing. To the point El Director himself stepped in to skip some.I'm sure if I checked out Canto 5 it would be just as bad in Parts 1 and 2.
