I really wish they would nerf healing into the ground
As someone who picks mostly honest characters except for SG and Peni I just cant fathom how fucking awful the balancing has been towards people like me

every single patch encourages braindead playstyles and its made this game so unpleasent because theyre not nerfing any of it, theyre in-fact supporting the idea that you should get onto psylocke and spam ults in a backline even if you go 1/3 against people who dont put up with that shit.
It's so fucking retarded, its not the blatantly rigged matchmaking, its not the bad teammates you get on a day to day basis and its definitely not that comp is dead but its their inability to remove those cancerous faggots who want to play outright overpowered heroes and farm their ego off of them but in this scenario they dont get punished they get to keep doing it for a year+
In overwatch the new characters get nerfed within the next patch

NetEase have certainly been catering towards those type of people; It's the reason why they refuse to crackdown on Hitscan and Healing despite both being the strongest long-standing metas in the game, but its so painfully obvious that they're giving certain characters a free pass since (Money). I hated Captain America when he was a stall god but It's so jarring to see him post-nerf in the current game balance and it definitely reinforces the idea that they're catering towards support paypig players because they were the ones writing hundreds of reddit posts complaining about dive that particular season.

The only thing I cant explain is why Daredevil is still allowed to be overpowered if not broken as hell despite him being banned in 99% of comp matches for almost 100+ days now. I'm fairly positive they dont want people to default ban the most cancerous character(s) in the game so they're trying to buff the characters to make them all somewhat viable as seen with the Rocket and Psylocke buffs.
Funny thing is; if they somehow managed to nerf Gambit and Daredevil then I would just default my bans towards Hela and Emma or Phoenix.

It's a fucked up formula based on the average performance of characters across the entire playerbase. If really doesn't matter what the actual raw numbers are, if that guy did 1.1x as well as the average Thor and you did 1.2x as well as the average Thing, you are Ace over him. That's why any Widow that tries even a little bit gets MVP for free since so many people pick her to visually show their temper tantrum/throwing. Anybody who figures out how to play the newly released character while a bunch of retards are dragging down the average gets MVP. A lot of the "girlfriend" characters like Luna/C&D/Jeff get it easier than most, but not quite free. Some other characters like Hulk or Ultron have a much much harder time getting MVP since if you're doing your job well enough to be winning, you're pretty much up against the ceiling for that character and can only get bigger numbers through the coincidence of your teammates giving them to you by stacking up more or something

Just turn the sniper into her super as an install and THEN let it 1-shot, so it's not a constant threat the whole game and people know to look for cover. Plus, you still have to be able to aim to get any value out of it. Then just up the damage a smidge on her batons, give her her stingers for a stun effect (As if Rivals needed more CC), and there. She's a crappy melee DPS hero with a skill check Ult. And it will still make her more playable than she is now.

There are retards at all levels of the game. I've seen of videos of stupid shit like Celestial players picking Widow and repeatedly jumping off the map simply because they didn't like how the ban phase went. When I have a teammate consistently lose to a character they hard counter, when I encounter some meme like a DPS only Cloak and Dagger, or when my teammate is having too much of a meltdown to play right I can say "It's just QP" pretty easy, but when you take away like 18 of my little points by doing that, it stresses me out for whatever reason. So I just go where I can be chill. I wouldn't discourage you from playing ranked or anything though.

As things are right now, she's just a small anchor around the game. Nothing major, but still dragging it down just a bit.

Why release skins for a character no one plays? She'll always need to be in a team-up, and they'll insist on giving her the ability, which won't be enough to compensate for her kit, because making her the anchor would mean nobody would ever get to use the team up. They still have to keep her relatively up to date for various little interactions and stuff, all for a character that gets picked like .5% of the time, either by someone with cracked aim or more likely, some butthurt thrower just fucking off.

If they rework her once and make her not even good but at least fun to play so people would pick her, it'd be worth it.
