You should plan oguri around having enough stam/guts to finish the race with just her first 2 heals.The brainlets are probably trying to minmax their stamina thinking "since 777 is gonna heal me anyway i can reduce my hp goal by 1.5%" but this is not the case and will just result in more losses. spurting 2 seconds later intentionally and walking the edge of a knife for the rest of the race is probably the dumbest thing i've heard of.
Is there a way to calculate stamina requirements to ensure that you hit max spurt? I no longer trust pic related. Would the umalator work for this (I've never used it)? Assuming no debuffers, how much stamina do you need to get full spurt for 2000m, 2200m, 2400m, 2500m?

You also might benefit from grabbing more mid-race skills like Ramp Up/It's On or Long/Style Corners/Straights/Curvature as well if you can squeeze in an extra race or two, your whole team is really likes being in 5/6th place so ensuring you can get someone in those spots is vital.
