I've been pleasantly surprised with faction/roster mods. The Hung are great. Takes awhile to get going and playing skirmisher cav only is sick. Attila, but in warhammer. The units actually look scary, too. A serious evil tone is nice from the cartoonishly evil shit that's prevalent in base game.Deithland is very cool as well. Nothing too blatantly overpowered. Cinderwind is an awesome concept and keeps artillery useful once the lines meet.Someone posted the Lost World lizardman mod that i'll check out once i'm done with these other 2. Seems cool, will probably play Mazdamundi to experience it.

But my army for most of the campaign is very bad so I concentrated on taking small colonies, on trade and on technology.
