I just recently played 16 last month since it was on sale. It was okay, well worth the $30 I paid for it. Game has a lot of issues but as an action rpg It felt pretty decent. I really liked the big budget cinematics along with the boss fights constantly being over the top despite being autopilot QTEs. The Titan fight was probably the highlight of the game just due to the scale and how many phases the fight had. The boss fights may not have been all that great on a gameplay level but thematically they really drove home the destructive might of what the eikons are capable of. Also on a side note the DLC boss fights were all a step above the base game boss fights on a gameplay level. Omega in the first dlc really felt like a boss out of 14 and it was a lot of fun.Overall I would rank 16 pretty highly for what kind of game it was but I can see why FF fans are upset with it.

Majority of the time it's not that bad and only a nuisance when it's cut since most of the dungeons are cold.

I've already played XIII but was curious to check it out again because of all the strange opinions coming out about the game to see how well it actually aged. I got the big MH bundle during the winter sale so I have the stories games too but I wanted to play world + rise before I even bother trying out those. I've played a bunch of hunter clones but haven't actually touched MH since the ps2 so I thought i'd give it a try since I have some friends that say they will play with me but then go offline with no explanation.

I played through ff13 and it ran quite well (solid 75 fps with the HD mod the entire playthrough) and I started out 13-2 and installed all the equivalent mods to get it to not shit itself but holy FUCK does it run badly, I just got to the part where control switches to Serah in nu-Bodhum and simply turning the camera towards the window where a bunch of fighting is going on tanks my fps to 40~. I feel that XII-2 and LR did more harm to XIII's legacy than anything else.
