After hours of grinding the Gigantes objectives, I switched to only 1 CPU and I've noticed that virtually every rare box now has a Legendary part. Maybe 1 CPU is actually better for grinding Gigantes parts than 15 CPUs?

One of the strangest things to me about Air Ride(rs) is that the locations don't feel like Kirby. In the GC game this was easy to ignore because there's no plot and Kirby goes to other worlds all the time, but Riders is explicitly set on Pop Star but you go to the steam level and it looks like Final Fantasy. Mario Kart levels don't look exactly like regular Mario levels but you see little tie ins like "Yoshi Motor Oil" and landmarks like Peach's castle and your brain makes it work but I have no idea where on post-Robobot Pop Star Cyberion Highway is supposed to be. Even as early as Superstar there was a little of this, the Halberd is very Final Fantasy and half the game modes are "what if we made Kirby less Kirby," and it fits with his stated ethos of never wanting to make the same game twice. I wonder if Sakurai would be happier making some big JRPG than returning to glaze Marx and Dedede one last time.
