Why didn't LoL ever bother to innovate its meta? Everyone knows Dota's meta is fundamentally healthier. In Dota carries (otherwise known as position 1s) are often the frontliners, not just squishies. 2-1-2 laning means more characters are viable and picked. While a laning phase that breaks down earlier means roaming is still viable.
