That's it, I'm so done with this game. Played it months ago but I can't be arsed to finish the main quest anymore. Here, take my review and V(aifu).I'd say the game is a 5, 6 if I'm being generous and include mods.The UI is atrocious. In the wardrobe I can't see clothing effects, in the inventory I can't find clothes. I can't find my status effects anywhere. The accidental misfire of the grenade hotkey alone caused probably a hundred reloads. Navigating through the menus is simply awful.The gameplay and flow is ass. Constant crashes, reloads, clunky and buggy combat. Sneaking is OK, but nothing spectacular. Way too many NCPD quests, some are bugged and impossible to complete. Way too many trash loot and collectibles everywhere begging to be picked up all the time.The combat is so ass it's unplayable and I have to use a sneak build to get even a smidge of enjoyment out of it. Every hit staggers you and getting hit multiple times within a second - which is very common even against a single enemy - makes you get stuck in the terrain or some shit, having to wait several seconds to unfreeze and jump out of it, almost guaranteeing death during combat. You can only get armor from implants, therefore forced to install all kinds of crap to survive basic mob encounters. I don't envy the NCPD, but it shouldn't be a death sentence dealing with all the cyber'd up gangs.Driving is okay, but the cars feel very samey, with the noobtrap sport cars having exceptionally bad handling.

Rewatching Edgerunners and man, I do not get the normie hype for this show. The pacing is so fucking fast it makes my head spin. The entire point was to show you an average, albeit exciting experience for a high rep merc and get you invested enough to spend money on the game and see for yourself. They did a phenomenal job using Trigger for this project because as the other anon said, it's their specialty. It's okay to say you wanted more exposition and the show could have been longer and also acknowledge that nothing of material value was lost as a result of the pacing, You're basically asking for more filler. And after trying to hammer jump for speed, using it for flight by aiming almost straight down had more reliable outcomes. most of the other runs using the hammerjump for speed, i was being thrown off the bike for slamming into walls.

Take your time to get to know Night City and the mechanics before moving on with it. The pacing of chapter 1 isn't the best.
