Nu-devs in their never ending quest to reinvent the wheel and further remove the game from its original vision, decided to change the log in screen with TWW to some shitty circle. It was awful and the playerbase revolted against it which made blizzard rush edit it, since they didn't have enough time/were too lazy to make a new one they just cut out the circle in the middle and put a jpeg of dornogol in it so at least they can pretend it's reminiscent of a portal like most log ins.Now with midnight and making a new screen they had two choices, actually make a cool screen like players wanted in the first place, or stick to their guns and pretend that cutting a hole in a blank wall with a jpeg of the expansion city was totally their vision the whole time and this is actually what they want it to look like.They of course chose option B.
