Monarchs are new and complicated without being ed sloppa, but are also 100% their own thing, you'll never be able to reuse them in other decks. D/D/D are max complexity but end up with a pretty standardly interactive endboard.

Cute girls unfortunately not very on the menu though.
Orcust would be decent for siscon lovers but gets assraped for relying on a do-nothing fieldspell to activate effects.
Lunalight is nothing but girls, but they're all furries and have the least interesting endboard of anything. Complicated on the way to it though.
White forest (or pure azamina) are very cutegirl but require a lot of investment for a good deck at yesterday's power level - won't have much longevity. Also you're corrupting the cutegirls into eldritch horrors.

You could also try Argostars if you wanna be REALLY weird about it but it's very commingling to the meme, they play like little else but their power is all over the place (usually lower) depending on matchup and turn order.

The current TOP decks are Yummy, Dracotail, Mitsurugi (cool art but snek dudes)/decks that use Mitsurugi as a supplemental slop engine. In the near future we will be getting Vanquish Soul K9. Ryzeal is so-so (gay AI generated hotrod robots and Rank 4 XYZ sloppa spam) and Maliss is debateably still good (has cute girls but they're all limited now, and much of the engine is just generic cyberse (internet themed) shit, and in my experience it still bricks to fucking hell; I refuse to play gay fucking Mathmech cards in my Maliss).

Live Twin (two, actually four, very cute girls who are fun to use) is probably finally getting stuff in February, probably a structure deck even (good for you since you're new), and the long long fucking awaited support cards (a Link 1 and main deck card) which makes it more versatile and way more streamlined when used with FIENDSLOP... The catch is, fiendslop consists of one cute girl, some monsters, and most notably DANTE from DEVIL MAY CRY, being the singular male in your deck who cucks you, I kind of hate it... but it's outdated now. This shit should have come out 6 months ago. It's powercrept by Yummy, Dracotail and K9/Vanquish Souls (as is everything else in the game).

If Dracotail is boring (it is) and Live Twin Fiendsmith is already long powercrept on release (arguably) your best best is probably K9/Vanquish Souls. It has furry werewolf men and it has fighting game characters but some cuties and it's probably your best most meta shot.

There's also Labrynth (ALL cute girls) which is an entirely trap focused control deck (like Traptrix) which will always find its way around to at least existing on the borderline of relevancy for dedicated players, purely because it exists entirely to give you free access to any and all NORMAL TRAPS and can use basically any utility Extra Deck cards possible that are generic or which jive with fiends. Instead of getting called a pedophile (Traptrix) you'll get called a tranny (Labrynth).

People always complain about Konami being shit at balancing things and making overpowered cards, but then you look at Magic and they printed multiple ways to summon infinite tokens and/or mana in standard(!)
I don't think yugioh has ever made that mistake even in the eternal format. All things considered yugioh isn't as bad as people claim

I was happy to play Assault Mode in the event but it reminded me we're getting support in the future that doesn't actually fix the problem with relying on the easily interruptible normal summon but just makes it more of a comboslop deck if it does go uninterrupted.

I cleared the event with this pretty damn easy.
Though I don't fucking understand the Buster Blader slop's inclusion at all and definitely didn't craft the Buster Blader ED monster. Only had one Dragoon as well but it was fine. Didn't run Purulia because who the fuck has Purulia. I just try to answer the ones that are obvious or easy, the actual challenging ones I skim the question and make the guess that sounds right if I can, or just guess random if it's too insane. Then I mentally make a note of the answer and how it sticks out.

Then using the "free" questions (there's usually at least one or two) that are obvious and my memory (focus on only the key terms of the answer or key card that stands out; i.e. "goes to GY" "but effect still activates",) I brute force it. Completely brute force. I did it this way even with proficiency 19 which requires you to answer all 8 questions right. I just need to do the actual dueling stuff and then I'll be 20.

Proficiency stuff is worth doing to 18 just for the XYZ mate base. Best looking base in the game by far. Very nice effects.

Honestly, I think Fuwa is still too strong too. They need to nuke Maxx C and Fuwa and do this.

It's just magical mallet. It's you keep freaking drawing so you can get handtraps on their turn but once that's over, then you get magical mallet. It's not part of the combo. The combo is Aurlock, Aang and Appa. If you can Aurlock and Aang on board, you play Appa, pick up Aang, Aang is now free to play because Airbend makes things cost 2 and Aurlock reduces that 2 by 2.
