I just won against D2 Balancers. First time fighting them in the deep. Back up 200 points! It was a good clean fight. I didn't fall once. Wasn't even in danger of falling. My two teammates fell at once, but I got the raider back up, and he got the revenant back up, and we handled the rest easily.I was letting the other two lead the run until mid day 2, when they pinged the falling star beast in the crater. That's when I spammed ping to insist we make our way down for the gold weapons. Good thing we did, because I was able to get a gold sacred troll sword. Lost to D2 Pest, because a DIPSHIT raider ruined our run. We got off to a really bad start, because this guy wanted to do an invader camp at level 2. Of course the invaders 1 shot us multiple times, until I had enough and ran from the camp. Half a day lost, with nothing to show for it.After falling behind, the raider kept trying to ping really bad POIs. Me and the recluse caught on that he was retarded, and just pinged our own places, and let him follow.By the end of day 2, we almost caught up to a normal run. I have a purple fire weapon and we're level 12 now. Hard fought, but we now stand a chance. Except the goddamn Raider is running some kind of meme shield build. He's holding the dragonclaw shield two handed. It does 80 damage. And he has a fingerprint shield on his back. This dude is shield crashing everything. But to my eyes, it doesn't appear to be very effective.Keep in mind, this dude also has the commander's standard on him. It does 291 damage. When we killed the castle boss, we dropped two purple fire weapons. He looks at them both, and then just walks away with shield in hand. Baffling.So we're fighting pest. Both recluse and raider 3 bar by the end of the boss. The boss only has like 5% of it's health left. I've been in this situation before. I know for fact that I can't pick them up with the Pest's super aggro moveset all focused on me. So I try to solo the last bit of the fight. The Raider starts pinging. I got the pest down to 1 or 2 hits. But I'm almost dead too. The raider starts pinging like mad. pingpingpingping. As if I can risk picking him up. Insanity. The guy is an absolute window licking downy. In the end, I die to one of the Pest's fart clouds. If not for that, I likely would have won.I'm considering blocking him. Not for his routing per se. But for jeopardizing a depths run with a meme shield build, and the insistent pinging in the end.
