Been playing since 2012 and I still can't figure out exactly what tormentors do, I can't make myself remember to use neutral items if they have to be activated and I have literally zero clue about what the new items do. I am under the impression that people rarely build desolator on melee heroes. Either that, or because there's no different animation for when it is used on ranged heroes, then I don't notice it. But deso is actually really good on melee heroes as well. I generally don't like Maelstrom on Weaver mainly because I don't see a good time to build it.

Want it early for farm? Shard is infinitely better.
Want it early for fighting? I've personally found Deso deleting one person at a time is much more productive than early AS spread out over a group.
Does it even help with DPS? Not more than any other AS item, because Geminate is cooldown-based, not AS based.
Get it like second or third item after deso, maybe all the way to Mjollnir? You just bought a ton of AS with no extra damage. You could've gotten a Bloodthorn or BKB or Daedalus or Nullifier in that time instead.

In a vacuum it's not a bad item by itself but on Weaver specifically, it's not great. Final build is usually like:
Boots Deso Bloodthorn/Nullifier BKB Satanic Daedalus

and there's no room for Mjollnir.

Let me explain how this works from the Overwatch perspective:

- You get assigned a replay
- You get assigned one specific person in that replay
- You get assigned a report category. I never saw Role Abuse or Comm Abuse, but I get a general rotation of Feeding, Griefing, Cheating/Scripting. Doesn't matter too much though because at the end, you will have to make two judgments: One for cheating, and one for griefing type shit.
This tells the person watching who to focus on. Doesn't matter what the other 9 players do, only the person at the top matters.

From there, the playback box on the top-right would have a series of markers. These markers are either timestamps that are around whenever a person made an in-game report (e.g. the Just Now or 1/5 Minutes Ago options), or points in the game the game deemed to be "suspicious" behaviour (Gaben is watching~~). It's to make the reviewer's life easier and not have to scour the whole replay on every report. Markers are optional and sometimes I find myself going through the whole thing for iffy cases.

So, assuming the reviewer was making a good faith attempt at an honest review, they will make a judgment based on what they see. Usually, the markers are good enough for like 90%+ of cases because they're all like pic related. So they'll see some key moments of you feeding like a retard with 0 points in Q and they'll be like "yup, feeder". It depends for me. If you're just bad, I would decide based on rank and skimming your general gameplay to see if you're just retarded.

If you got judged for Feeding, given the description from the other Anon, I could see people judging you Guilty for not just that one described incident but watching all the other markers the game provided, whatever they are. Griefing? You might've skated. Or you got both!! That might explain why it's a big hit but I'm not sure if you can get multiple convictions off of one game. I can't say either way.

My behavior score is so low I can't flame anyone anyway (underserved of course) and I don't ping people, because I know that gets tracked by the game internally.
The key problem is that I have to play in a way that minimizes reports and sometimes you just get griefed and reports spammed on you at that behavior score, like in this game. I'm sure you're a good boy so you don't know what that is like.

And the # of trees you get on a shackle cone is capped by the # of units in the shackle like pic related.

I could see people trying it out because they don't like the meme Powershot, and having an item's worth of extra damage early isn't a bad plan but I think the facet is underpowered and needs work before you could even say it's viable for a core. if you watch the replay from player perspective you see when they open the scoreboard and you see when they click "report player" and while you can't see the dialogue box, you can see their mouse movements clicking Griefing and then check or uncheck the Overwatch Report box and then Send Report or whatever that dialogue box says.

It happened this time and it happened 2 other times recently.
One of those was deserved, I was grinding tokens and not really trying, sending me from 6500 to 5500.
One of them was not, it was a similar case to this, where I got brooded and made some bad decisions in the early game, someone again started spamming "REPORT REPORT REPORT" and I got low priority for that game too.
Of the 3000 behavior score that I lost, I would argue that I only deserved to lose 1000, from 6500 to 5500.
I admit that I was griefing games when I was token farming and I was also on a loss streak and pretty tilted. Sure.

It happens more than you think, because people are using the report feature to "get revenge". And maybe they are better at exploiting the Overwatch system to really make someone look bad. It's part of the low behavior score metagame.
