Hello 4chins, today I come to you with a question, it's a longshot but you never know.Recently I have given myself the arduous task of making Skyrim into a good RPG--on PS5. Why, I don't fucking know, but this is what I've done. And I'd say I've been more successful than expected: vokrii, spellforge, YMD2, as well as a number of other little changes and tweaks including, of all things, 1st person animation replacers (they exist on PS, who knew?), these combine to make the general gameplay experience infinitely better than vanilla. More can be done than I had believed.But I'm still experiencing one glaring issue: larger sized soul gems sucking up smaller sized souls and being wasted. Now, considering PS can't have external assets at all, I'm having terrible trouble finding a mod that regulated soul sizes. Recommendations of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

>>553971907The only reason Skyrim landed like it did was the lack of competition. It's easy to be the big fish when you're the only fish in the pond. There are actually a ton of flaws with Skyrim, and I'm not just talking about the lackluster combat. Questing is very bland. The writing never gets as bad as Oblivion's, but never anywhere near as interesting either. You're going to be stumbling across the same scenarios over and over, there are barely any memorable characters, and 90% of time spent questing is trudging through some linear draugr tomb or bandit stronghold. Dungeons are also very samey, whether they be a major, main quest dungeon or something tied to a minor quest. And the stories told by said dungeon, if the dungeon even has one, are bog-standard and boring. It all feels very interchangeable Sure, Bethesda still smells like roses next to Ubislop, but it hasn't really innovated or improved in the ways that mattered elsewhere, and has even regressed since Skyrim's time. As much as people on here don't like to admit it, BSG will die a slow, ignoble end if they don't adapt. They've already lost a lot of the faith of normies with F76 and Starfield. And I don't think SF2.0 is going to bring people back, as many of the issues players had with the game were baked into its core gameplay design, not surface level technical issues and oversights.

>>553978407I tried it, it basically does exactly what the videos show give or take some script lag. A lot of the times you can't see the bubbles outside because of either lighting or script lag. Inside it'll flood your screen, especially if you sit still. The actual sounds it adds isn't terrible but I'd rather just the sound effects. If you use SLS with this get ready for cringekino since the sounds overlap with the voices so you'll hear both the asmr and the "you know you want to drain his balls, don't you" lines in the classic FemaleYoungEager voice. I don't use that mod anymore otherwise I would post it for you. Sorry anon.
