Overall I liked the canto but I gotta say that it felt more like a Limbus Company hype moments and aura compilation than a Ryoshu canto. That's not totally bad but I did feel like there are some things about Ryoshu that were rushed or underexplained. Like what exactly is Ryoshu's timeblood and how does sensing time help her wield the sword? If Araya exists in the past, present, and future, then why didn't she know that Ryoshu was coming back to get her? If Ryoshu's blade cleaves off her memories, then how exactly did Dante and Araya bring enough memories back to make her a functioning person after becoming a garbage disposal? And why did they decide to reveal that Ryoshu's sword prioritizes her most precious memories first in an announcer instead of the actual story?There's more than that, of course. I feel like they killed off Ren simply because they didn't know what to do with him despite the fact that he's Pinky-adjacent and we know so little about them. Or what is Hermes's problem in general with his Roland-Argalia OC.I think the main thing though is that Ryoshu straight up loses her memories at the end. I get that this is only part 1 of her story, but really? Imagine if our Heathcliff completely forgot about Cathy but it's apparently okay because Dante secretly remembers.
