>>554011015I recently made my first piece of clothing from scratch in blender a few months back, right after doing the donut tutorial, and my first attempt at it (top half of pic related) turned out like shit.But after a few more cracks at it, it started becoming easier, and I think it only took me a week IIRC to go from the top one of idk what im doing how do I make hoodie to the bottom one.Some things that helped me was modeling different parts or sections as different meshes and joining them later, instead of trying to model everything all in one-go. Also for clothing, blender has a "Grab Cloth" sculpting brush that can help add some depth and give the mesh more of an uneven cloth-like appearance instead of being a completely flat mesh that perfectly encapsulates you. Substance Painter was also pretty easy to learn in a few hours for basic texture work that looks good.

One thing I have been struggling with is quickly splitting edges/faces so that things don't look quite as low poly as they are... I am a lot more used to the workflow of Wings3D than blender, but wings is not the right tool for this task.

Moving out from your parents would be overall great for your own mental health, but financially it will be difficult. You'll need room mates most likely, and I guess they would need to be alright with you jerking it to VR porn.You'll need some way to get money too, and you might have to sell your VR gear for the time being. There are a lot of other options in life besides traditional 9-to-5 jobs, and if I am honest, I think the 9-to-5 jobs are either going away or turning into 8-to-7 jobs, or the 7am-to-10pm if it's for an international company.On the other hand, once you are situated and have a job and your own place, you'll find re-buying VR gear a whole lot easier, so don't lose hope!

I mentioned this recently in relation to turning it off but my quest 2 is stuck with an update message that never goes away when shutting it off.What some anon suggested of just holding the power button for longer worked for shutting off, but I would like to fix the updating issue.Is factory reset the only way to fix that?
